Life according to my phone

It's 6:33am, I just fed Boston and he fell back asleep. (The kid still can't make it from 6-8am without eating. Those hunger pangs are severe I'm sure. Life is so rough. lol) I can hear the garbage man roaring through the neighborhood, and instead of trying to go back to sleep I thought nah, I'm in the mood to seize the day! :) So I'll start with a pic of Bos, because it's still so hilarious to see such a little body in such a big bed. Makes me smile every time.
These last few weeks will be updated from the random pics I take on my phone. It's actually pretty crazy how much I rarely use my actual camera anymore though. (Even though I like the picture quality better with it) I use my phone camera the majority of the time, cause hey, it's always in my pocket... you can't get more convenient than that, and I'm pretty sure the world country we live in now is all about convenience (just a fancy word for laziness really) isn't it?

Brigham City Temple open house! It was so beautiful! I wasn't quite sure how Boston would be, but to no surprise he was great. It was actually very cute how serious he was as we walked through. He loved looking at the beautiful chandeliers, and paintings! That, and I'm sure he could see angels that were all around! I really believe the veil is still very thin for babies. They are so pure, and still so close to Heaven. :) It was a fun trip...too bad Andrew had to work, we missed him.
Yup, even Bosty had to wear booties. ;)

Good ol' Uncle Dal! :)

Cutest sad face I've ever seen: This little boy rarely ever cries, he's very happy majority of the time; so when we were playing around, and all of a sudden he made this face it was very surprising, but so adorable I had to capture it! We were just going back and forth laughing at each other...well apparently I wasn't funny anymore. lol

SWISS DAYS: The photo below was a random one yes, and does not represent it very well. But Swiss days is an event I look forward to all year! This year especially, because I spent the whole day baby free!! :) First day in 6 months I left Boston for more than a feeding! Since I'm nursing it's especially difficult to leave him for very long, but I pumped some milk, and Boston got to spend the whole day with Daddy, which is also a rare treat! It was a really good time going up with my mom, and seeing my SIL Sierra there. And got some fun crafty stuff too!

Swimming with Browns & Heslops: The Browns invited us to go swimming at their parents' GORGEOUS pool in east Bountiful. Pretty sure I've never seen a more beautiful home. It was a lot of fun hanging out with good friends, eating good food, laughing, and enjoying the last swim of summer.

Downtown SLC Farmers Market: The only thing better to do on a Saturday morning (in my opinion) is garage sale shopping, but this was a very close second! Salt Lake has an amazing farmers market downtown in Hobo Pioneer Park. It's the largest one around. It is so fun because there isn't just craft booths, there is actually, wait for it... FRESH FARMED PRODUCE!!! :) And lots of free samples. It may have been Boston's first time taking it all in, but he was here many times last summer whether he remembers or not. Just glad I got to push him in the stroller this time, or pass him off to one of his Grandmas, who BOTH came!! So fun! As well as 2 of his cute aunts, Natalie, and Sierra, and of course little Daph. It was a grand time!

My new walking partner(S): Lately Boston and I have enjoyed some good company on our morning walks!!! I've been going with my sweet neighbor Laura Heslop, and her two little kiddos, Lilly and Stewart. I have to say walks sure go by a lot quicker when you walk with a good friend, oh and you actually go! :)

Laura wouldn't be photographed this early in the morning...lol
Ahrens family reunion in Wellsville:The reunion is always at this almost old fashion plantation of some kind. Super cute and quaint, and shady. Lots of fun people, GREAT food, and catching up. Best part of the day, was when my sweet 93 yr old Great Grandma Ahrens got there, got out of the car, saw Boston and said in her most adorable voice, "Oh my word! Look at that fatty!" ha ha To which I replied, "Alright Grandma, you're the only one I'll let call him that." ha ha His weight didn't keep her from wanting to hold him though, and whistle to him, and talk to him, even during the blessing on the food. lol.
random pic I sent to Andrew, letting him know we were missing him. Stupid work. I'm glad he's so good about making the sacrifices for our family.
Well that was life according to my phone, and I'm off to get some breakfast! Crazy how blogging can work up an appetite! :)
