Andrew and I had the opportunity to watch my fun little cousins while their parents were at the American Idol Finale! Luckies!
But I really think we were also lucky! We got to play Mom and Dad for a couple days with these 5 cuties. We had a great time, and it was fun to see a little bit of what life might be like one day. Not that I have any intention of having 5 kids....ha we'll just see!
We watched a lot of American Idol considering we had to try and spot their parents. So the first night we had a pajama party. I loved how the littlest one, Jared, would fight Andrew over getting to sit next to me.
We jumped on the tramp, and played in the yard! And then had our American Idol Finale party with lots of sugar, and cuddling up on the couch.
The girls were good sports to let me play with and french braid their hair for school!
The last night we may or may not have stayed up a little bit too late (Sorry Steph!) playing Barbies, and I actually think I was almost more excited than the girls were! Even the boys got involved with GI Joe's! But my favorite part of the night was when we put each one to bed. Me and the girls sang primary songs together, and I loved it! A few back scratches, 3 bedtime stories, and one sweet family prayer later and we were all fast asleep. Needless to say Andrew and I are very excited for when the time comes when we'll have our own little family, but I'm not making any announcements yet! ha ha
