This year Andrew and I celebrated our FIVE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!! That's a BIG DEAL!! :) A lot has happened in these five years! We both found good jobs (esp compared to what we had when we were first married.. I was working at Ashley Furniture as a door greeter/secretary in the worst environment ever! And Andrew was a math tutor at Weber State making near nothing per hour...) of which Andrew is still at his. It has been very good to us, but he'll be glad for the day to move on. We bought our FIRST home, of which we still love and adore, especially the location! We welcomed our first child into our family and have loved ALMOST every minute of being parents. ;) And now we have our second on the way!! We have also grown a tremendous amount together, and helped each other learn a lot about ourselves -- you really do finish raising each other in a marriage. Especially being LDS where our culture tends to lead us to getting married young, which is great, but there is still lots of growing up to do. I wouldn't have it any other way though!! I love that we are a young family, and we have soo much time ahead together! Literally Eternity. :) And there really is no one I would rather spend it with. Andrew is my best friend and I am soo grateful for him. My love for him has multiplied since I've watched him become a Father. He is amazing, and he takes such good care of our family! If it wasn't for him there is NO way I would be able to stay home with our kids. He is a great example to me of hard work and dedication! :) I love you Andrew. You're better than the best. :)

To celebrate we didn't do anything super fancy shmancy, we kept it casual and fun, but that's just how we are... we don't need to spend a lot of money to know that our love for each other is real and strong. Although it would be nice to have lots of money to spend. lol We stressed for a couple days, trying to figure out something fun and "memorable" to do, since it was our five year anni after all. But nothing really seemed worth the money, or the time. We had arranged to have Boston have his FIRST sleepover ever at my parents, so we could "stay out late" lol and since we rarely have date nights we decided we would do exactly what we WANTED to do and stop worrying about making it a "big deal." so we cancelled our expensive massages, and we went to PF Changs for dinner which was amazing, and is becoming tradition!! And then we went and saw a movie we'd been wanting to see for a few months (Star Trek..no idea why lol) and the only theater it was still at was in a ghetto theater in West Jordan, but we did it, and it was fun!! :)
Leaving Boston was probably the biggest deal of the night for me. I was a bit emotional. I called to say good night to him, and he was so sweet on the other end of the phone and said Mama a few times and bye.. and luckily my parents were really reassuring to me of how he was doing. My Dad sent me a few pictures:

| They said that after they sang lots of primary songs and said prayer he went to sleep perfectly without crying at all. And he behaved very well! I have to say I was pretty proud of him. It didn't look like he missed me one bit... ;) |

| This was a "good morning Mom" picture of him drinking his milk like a good boy! |
Me picking him up the next morning! Such a sweetheart!
2 weeks later we celebrated a bit more by staying a few nights in Park City as a family with Dan, Sierra, and Daphne; who were also celebrating their anniversary! We had a fun room, with a fun pool that the kids loved! We relaxed, shopped, ate out at Squatters, ordered pizza by the pool, swam, and stayed up late playing games. Doesn't get any funner than that... unless we would have ditched the kids. lol The only pics I took was of the kids riding the carousel at the outlets... Guess I was having too much fun. ;) It was a great anniversary!!
