Crandall Baby!!!

Well here's the big announcement you've all been waiting for. Andrew and I are pregnant!
We're going to have a baby!!!! :) :)

Ok, let's be real about this, I'm having the baby, and I'm the pregnant one (I always love when people say, WE'RE pregnant and I just said it. Ha) of course Andrew will be there supporting me all along the way! I couldn't ask for a better partner on this adventure! :) We're both ecstatic and couldn't be happier or feel more blessed!!! We were both pleasantly surprised that I got pregnant after our first time trying! (yes, it's a cruise baby ha) We thought it would take a few months at least, considering from my studying on the subject it seemed like there was literally a 2 hour window, on one day of the month, if the weather
was good, that it could actually happen. So again we feel so blessed from Heavenly Father. And our hearts and prayers go out to several couples that are close to us who have been trying for some time.

It all started 2 weeks ago. (this is a long story, and is for my personal remembrance so don't feel like you have to read it.) I took the test for our FHE. The second line (2 meaning pregnant) was barely visible. It being our first baby, we couldn't settle for a vague confirmation. So at 10:45pm we headed to Harmons to pay the shirt off our back for a few more tests (those of you who have recently purchased these little wonder sticks know exactly what I'm talking about. Not til I didn't need them anymore did I find a great site online that has then super cheap. I'll be happy to share the link if any of you need it) I was never happier or more proud to walk around Harmons in my pj's, drinking a large water bottle and slap a box of 2 tests ($14.99) on to the conveyor belt, and have some teenage boy give me a little giggle. ha ha We got home and I took 2 more tests that came out negative. To our disappointment we went to bed,  thinking maybe it was just too early, we decided to test again another day. I somehow waited a week, and we decided to test on Sunday.
So Sunday morning at 6:30am this overwhelming feeling of a little spirit who wanted it's presence known, pulled me to my feet! Any of you who know me, know I am NOT a morning person, and am usually never seen sprying out of bed before Andrew, unless it's Christmas, so this was an odd occurence. I took the test, and crawled back into bed and whispered to Andrew that in 3 minutes our lives could change forever. He acknowleged me by saying "Wake me up in 3 minutes."  I said a little prayer to Heavenly Father that if it's his will I would love to carry one of his children. But I know he knows when I'm ready, so if I wasn't pregnant, for him to guide me until he felt that I was ready. Then Andrew and I turned it over and there were
 2 BOLD lines!!!!!

We couldn't believe it!! We're both so excited! We can't wait to see what it looks like, I am personally hoping it looks Guatemalan, because I think Andrew's Guatemalan family is beautiful! :) But so far I am 5 weeks along (I can't imagine waiting 8 more months!) our baby is the size of a grain of rice, and I am feeling fantastic! I haven't been sick at all, and I pray it continues!! So any of you who read all of this, prepare yourselves for lots of posts about pregnancy and my excitement, because this is the biggest news I've had in 3 years!!!! :)
