Boston's 2nd Birthday Party was a BALL! :)

I sent this picture with the party details! It was a ball themed party, which was perfect for Boston. I don't think there's any object he loves more on the planet!! We invited family from both sides. And most everyone was able to make it. :) I failed to get good pics cause I was too busy to take many, next time I will remember to assign the camera to someone else! ha But he sure had a good time.  I did remember to assign the camera while he opened presents so we have plenty of those!

Everyone was so generous! I can't believe all the cute stuff he got!

Mr. Potato head and church clothes from Gma/Gpa Jasmer

giving Uncle Mike a High five after opening his Nerf gun that he gave him.

After he opened the little balls from Gary and Liz he didn't want to open any other presents for about five minutes! ha ha

The cute "Hug me" Elmo from Gma/Gpa Hawkins, he wasn't too sure about it at first.  haha

The cute horse that Aunt Sierra made!

We had 2- 6 foot long party subs which was soo yummy and so nice. Walmart made them and I'm convinced they're the way to go!! The sports themed cupcakes from Gpa Crandall were fun to display, and eat! :) Gpa Crandall also got him a Thomas Train set!
For his party I also worked really hard on a slide show that we played before we had dessert. It was all the fun pics and videos from the last year. Even though I probably spent way too much time on it it was so fun to make and I enjoy doing them so much! It's like my little tribute to him each year. I also did a video interview with him that turned out so cute! It will be fun to see how his answers do or don't change throughout the years.
One of Boston's favorite parts of his party was probably running around with holding the balloons with Daphne. They are so cute together. :) And being with all of his uncles that indulge in tackling him, throw the balls, and wrestle with him. It took him quite awhile to settle down after they all left so I made sure to snuggle with him extra long, and even let him fall asleep in my bed with me. Hey, he'll only turn two once, and I didn't mind soaking in every moment, he's growing up so fast!
Sunday was his ACTUAL Birthday and it was just a quiet day with family. He and I spent a long time setting up the train set Andrew and I got him for his birthday. It was so fun making the tracks go all different ways. Great Grandma/pa Hawkins gave him lots of wood tracks too so we were able to make it really big! I love the times I actually make time to get down on his level and play with him. He's so cute.

Since his actual birthday was on Sunday, Monday we had a little play date at Arctic Circle (because they have an awesome playground for little kids!) with his cute friend Daphne, and her mom Karen that's one of my good friends! (It's funny that he has a friend Daphne AND a cousin Daphne!) At first when we got there we had the whole place to ourselves! I had dropped Max off at my parents so I could focus completely on showing Boston a good time. We had some good one on one time.
Then Daphne, Karen, and Charlie showed up! Daphne came running in with a present for Boston, and had to give it to him right away! It was his first remote control car. So fun.

They had a good time running around and playing together. Then we had lunch, and Boston tried his very first hotdog/corndog. Dipping it in the ketchup was prob his fav part. :) I love how little Daphne had her corndog all cut up and ladylike, and Boston had his all over his face. Total boy. lol

This boy is sure loved and it was fun to have a weekend just to show him how much we sure do love him!!! Happy Birthday Boston!!! We're so proud of how you're growing and the amazing little boy that you are! Dad and I love you sooo much!!
