Boston wouldn't be caught dead, road trppin' or riding in the car at all without some sunglasses! lol silly boy! I got him his own pair now, and he just stares at himself in the mirror in front of him like "I am soo cool."
We left about 8pm (originally planned to leave by 6) and HOPED Boston would sleep the whole way. In a perfect world that would have happened. It was actually harder for him to sleep in the car, and he kept waking up every time we had to stop the car which was frequently because we were both so tired!! Andrew and I are not late night people, especially ever since we had Boston. So staying up late is harder than it used to be! But we did finally make it to Andrew's Dad's home, and got to sleep...about 12:45am!
In the morning we headed for a swim!! It was such a fun pool because it was so warm.
There aren't many things cuter than seeing Boston's chunky legs in a swim suit. lol gotta love this swimsuit too, it makes him even more curvy, and serves no purpose so I don't think we'll be using it again. I wonder how many women would be willing to wear a suit like that. lol
While in St. George we were able to do some fun activities outside. We played Horseshoes, and tennis! Paul taught me some really good tennis basics, and I'm in love with it. Since St. George Andrew and I have bought tennis gear and have played quite a bit! Imagine that... a sport I actually enjoy!!! :)

we weren't exactly prepared for chilly weather, hence the crazy outfit.
These pics were taken on a hike down to the Virgin river behind Paul's house. The hike was supposed to be a "trail" that Paul takes frequently to see the river... it was more like wandering through weeds, but hey, it's all about the experience right?! Paul makes me laugh...

Boston makes the funniest faces when he thinks it's bright outside.

ha ha I love his toes all spread out, nervous about the water!

One dip, was all it took. No way Grandpa, not touching that freezing water again!
Boston also got to spend a lot of time with his Grandpa Crandall, and Andrew and I had two date nights baby free, back to back! Pretty sure that hasn't happened since Boston has been born!

These were actually taken the weekend before when Paul was staying with us, just wanted to show how much fun they have.

He loves ridin' in Grandpa's truck, but he loves to point at doggies even more!

Pointing to cousin Daphne's picture on display. He would do this multiple times per day. :)
As for Andrew and I, we went to the movies, and went out to dinner! While walking around we found this cute restaurant named "Camille's" It made me want to open my dream: "Camille's Crepery" even more, cause seriously, how cute does Camille look as a restaurant name! ;)
While we were in town we of course went and visited our sweet friends Marisa, Bryan, and their cute girls, who pretty much mauled Boston. They LOVE to give hugs!
It was good to see Maris. She is pregnant with her third baby, who has a heart problem, and will have to be born in Salt Lake at the U hospital as it may need open heart surgery right away! I can't even imagine how scared I would be. I was amazed by the faith that Marisa and Bryan showed that they know Heavenly Father will take care of their family.
Another afternoon we went out as a family and visited a St. George memorial that most people probably don't know about: "Crandall' Park! ;)
The Crandall boys named this little park after themselves when they were little because of all the good times they had there while visiting their grandparents. Now that Boston is big enough we definitely had to get out and play there for a bit. It's a very... humble park. But I quickly learned, it's not about all the nifty toys, and things to do and climb on that make a park fun... it's the people you're with that make it fun. :)
And of course a visit to St. George would never be the same without a visit to our sweet Great Grandma Crandall! She is one strong lady! I am always so impressed by how sharp she is, and how well she gets around for her age! (Now 91!) She loved seeing Boston, I only wish we could visit her more often. We went to her church services, and also went out to eat with her another night, along with her 2 sons, Joe and Grant. They were fun to visit with and it's always fun to hear their stories. I was also impressed that Grandma Crandall downed a good size burger and milk shake! Mmmmm! :)
We love you St. George, and all the friends and family you hold that we love so dearly along with the sunshine! See you again soon!
