Halloween 2012!

I have to say, Holidays are sooo much more fun with kids!! I love my hubby, and we have fun together, but a sixth year of Holidays just the 2 of us would have gotten a little boring. lol We have had a blast these last few days of Halloween celebrating! WARNING: Lots of pics! What can I say, I'm camera happy! (If you didn't know that by now.)

We first started off with a fun bon fire at our house with my family on Sunday! Nothing is better than sitting around a fire with good company, making some good s'mores! We have had a few fun bon fires this year with neighbors and friends as well! Good times!

Then on Tuesday we got with our good friends the Jensens, for some more festivities!

Katrina and I made "Yummy Mummy Pizza Calzones" They were delish! I'm so glad Katrina taught me how, cause it was so fun!
We also took a stab at making caramel apples, which didn't end up LOOKING the best, but they tasted great and that's all that matters right?!
While we were cooking, our hubbies carved pumpkins, and did a great job especially considering they had 2 kiddos playing at their feet. :)

Boston and Hazel had a good time together! She is over a year old and is such a cute little thing, only 15 pounds!! She was running circles around Boston though! And Boston officially had his FIRST KISS!!!! Right on the lips I might add! ha ha She is so adorable! We tried to catch it on camera, but she would just run away and get shy.

Boston was trying to play it cool. ha ha

Then Finally Wednesday Halloween was here! Boston must have known cause he was so excited and happy all day! From the moment he woke up!

Adorable fuzzy bed head. ha ha (Yeah I know I have posted way too many pics of his fuzzy hair)

Andrew and I didn't dress up this year, but we had fun dressing Boston up! He was a dinosaur! I totally want to dress up as a family one of these years though! :)

**Kisses for my baby dinosaur**

Since he's too little to go trick or treating, we just made the rounds to see all his grandparents that live close by! First stop was Gma/Gpa Jasmers, where they had a cute little peacock named Daphne visiting as well. :)

Dolores took him around the neighborhood to show her neighbors, and he got his FIRST pack of candy ever!! Sour patch kids! Mommy's favorite!! I let him hold it for a few hours before I took it off his hands! ;)
Next stop, Great Gma/Gpa Hawkins' home where all the Hawkins family was celebrating my Grandma's Birthday. It's a tradition every year, since she shares Halloween with her big day. We always have Chili, and homemade rolls, and get to see all of our cousins, and sneak candy from Grandma's bowl. :)

Baby dino was attempting crawl away from all the squeezes and kisses...
Only ended up in a belly flop.

Last stop of the night was home, where my little Frankenstein fell fast asleep after an "exhausting" first Halloween.
This was my very favorite part of the day, and often is most days. I fed Boston, and then as I carried him fast asleep to his room I stood in front of his crib and held him tight, gazed at him extra long with just the light of his little night light, kissed his forehead and laid him down. He's growing right before my eyes, and my heart is growing right along with him. :)

  1. Sounds like you have a great Halloween. Boston's dino costume is adorable. It's really nice that you were able to make it around for Bos to see all of his grandparents.
